Fixture identity
Events are keyed by their provider event ID. Teams, competition, date, status and score stay attached to that record to prevent duplicate fixtures.
How our fixture and TV listings work
Where's The Game On combines scheduled sports-event data with broadcaster listings, normalizes it once, and presents the same verified fixture record across the website and app.
Local times
Provider times are normalized and converted to the timezone selected by the visitor. If a trustworthy time is unavailable, we show Time TBC instead of guessing.
TV coverage
Channel and country names are displayed only when supplied by the sports or TV data source. A broadcaster name is not treated as proof of a country market.
Live and finished states
Live scores and status updates are refreshed from the fixture feed. Finished, postponed and penalty results remain distinct states.
Corrections
Sports schedules can change. If a listing looks wrong, send us the fixture, date and country so it can be checked.
Indexation safeguards
Canonical sport and match pages are indexable when they contain verified value. Empty daily states and calendar parameters are kept out of search indexes.
